Is there a weight limit?
There is a weight limit of 80lbs per pet.
What kind of food do you provide?
While we strongly recommend that you bring in your pet’s own food to help keep them healthy and happy during their stay, we are happy to provide food as well. For those guests who do not have their own food from home, both dogs and cats are fed Science Diet for Sensitive Stomachs. This is done as a precaution to help protect your companion’s digestive system.
Can we bring our own food?
Yes! In fact, we strongly encourage you to bring your own food. We do request that you pre-measure your pet’s meals and bag each meal in a Ziploc baggie.
Can we bring our own bedding and/or toys?
Yes! We just ask that you include your pet’s name and last name on all items to prevent anything from getting lost. Toys will not be left in kennels overnight.
Can I board my pet long term?
While we’d certainly love to spend as much time as possible with your pet, it is not recommended to board animals longer than 3 weeks at a time due to the stress and anxiety that such extended stays can cause.
Can my dog and cat board together?
Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, we are unable to board cats and dogs together in the same kennel.

What happens if my dog isn’t socially friendly?
Don’t worry! Your pup will have his or her own space and be rotated every few hours to play in the backyard with our fun and friendly staff!
I will be arriving late but want my pet with me as soon as possible. Can I make arrangements to have someone else pick him or her up for me?
Sure! You may have someone else retrieve your pet as long as we have your written authorization, the name of the person who is picking up your pet on file, and payment arrangements have been made in advance.
What if my pet gets sick while in your care?
In the unlikely event of injury or illness, the agreement that you sign will allow us to treat your pet at Valley Animal Hospital during normal operating hours. If a situation occurs after hours, we will contact whoever is listed as your emergency contact person to pick up your pet and have them transported to an emergency hospital.
Can I call to check on my pet?
Of course! You may call us any time during business hours and we would be happy to give you an update on how your pet is doing.
Do you require reservations?
We request that you make reservations on Paw Partner and provide as much advanced notice of your pet’s visit as possible. Reservations allow us to staff appropriately so that we can provide optimal service and care for you and your pet! Although we attempt to accommodate all requests for boarding, we do experience certain “peak periods,” generally occurring around busy holiday seasons and traditional summer vacation months. If you need to make arrangements for your pet during these times, we strongly recommend doing so as early as possible.

We provide a variety of activities and services, making for a customized experience that is tailored to your pet’s needs. After all, your pet is unique and should have a visit to match!
If I have more than one pet will they be able to board together?

What should I expect when my pet comes home from boarding or daycare?
After full days of play at daycare, your pooch may come home feeling pooped. This is entirely normal and to be expected. Our staff is constantly monitoring playtimes and can take yours into a kennel for a nap if they become overly tired during daycare. It’s not uncommon for pets to sleep a lot and even skip meals for a little while after returning home.
Your dog may also be quite thirsty. While water is always available at our facility, pets may still be thirsty after arriving home from playing all day at daycare.
Do your pet’s paws seem sensitive? This is also completely normal – especially if they are new to a doggie daycare setting. It’s common for dogs’ pads to be sore after romping and playing all day. Rest assured your pup’s pads will become stronger the more they visit daycare!
Why do you have a 30-minute meet and greet requirement?
A temperament test or trial day is how we determine if doggie daycare is a good fit for your dog. During this time, we will meet you and your dog, assess his or her history and behaviors, and introduce your pup to the pack. This first session lasts 30 minutes (owner does not stay) in order to give your dog enough time to acclimate to the new environment. It also allows our staff to observe how well your dog interacts with the group.
How do you keep your facility clean?
All animal contact surfaces (play structures, floors, etc.) are constantly cleaned around the clock with the same dog-safe chemicals used in veterinary offices. Further, twice-daily deep cleaning is performed using non-toxic solutions to battle dirt and grime, as well as bleach to battle microorganisms and parasites. All human contact surfaces (door knobs, countertops, etc.) are also sanitized around the clock. No harsh chemicals are used.
